Jhang city remained in severe tense and traders kept close their shops and businesses to mourn the death of Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid, Ex-Secretary General of banned Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP). Unidentified attackers killed Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid when he went for a walk on Saturday.
DPO Jhang said that the killer had fired shot very closely which hit his head and Yousuf Mujahid died on the spot. When asked whether it was a sectarian killing or enmity he replied that it would be premature to say anything before inquiry. However he was a very important person of banned sectarian organisation.
