Bones discovered beneath Spanish parliament

Human bones have been discovered during repair work underneath the Spanish parliament building, officials said Wednesday. The bones, which belonged to at least three people, were believed to be several centuries old. They were thought to have been inside the ossuary of a convent which was destroyed by a fire in 1823 and replaced by the parliament building in 1850. Workers also discovered remains of underground chambers and corridors.
