Middlesbrough admitted Wednesday a charge of failing to control their players during the Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion on January 17. The charge was imposed by the Football Association (FA) for the way in which Boro's players reacted following referee Mark Halsey's decision to send-off Didier Digard in the second-half of Albion's 3-0 win at the Hawthorns.
"Middlesbrough have today admitted a charge of failing to control their players," said a statement on the FA's official website. "Middlesbrough have requested a personal hearing, which will be scheduled in due course."
