Kashmir Solidarity day observed

Kashmir Solidarity day was observed here as elsewhere in the country with great zeal and fervour with people of Karachi making commitment for unwavering support to the people of occupied Kashmir struggling for their right of self-determination.
Largely attended Kashmir rallies were taken out from various parts of the city under the aegis of various political and social organisations. A big rally was taken out by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), which on culmination was addressed by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Another big rally led by Liaquat Baluch, Naib Amir Jamaat Islami Pakistan was taken out from Jail Chowrangi and ended at Mazar-e-Quaid where it was addressed by JI leaders including Mohammed Hussain Mehanti, Hafiz Naimur Rehman and others. Jammu and Kashmir All Parties Unity Forum took out a rally from Lukki Star Saddar and ended at Karachi Press Club.
Motorcycle rallies of youth were also taken out under the auspices of Shabab-e-Milli. Sunni Tehreek, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, PML(N) also held various functions in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day. The participants of the rallies, seminars and other gatherings vowed that they will not sit silent until the Kashmiris get their eternal right of self-determination and they get freedom from the subjugation of Hindu imperialism.
