Rally held to express solidarity with Kashmiri people

United Nations (UN) and International Community should stress India to stop its atrocities against innocent people of Kashmir and play its vital role for the solution of this core issue between India and Pakistan for peace in the region, District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jameel said this on Thursday while addressing a rally to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Kashmir is the part and parcel of Pakistan and people of Kashmir have rendered many sacrifices for their independence from Indian occupation and day is not far away when their struggle will bear fruit, he added at the rally organised by District Government Hyderabad.
He said that the people of Pakistan see the struggle of Kashmiri people with the eye of appreciation and have always given them moral support. DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri, Taluka Nazim City Shabbar Chisti, DG HDA, district officials, NGOs, students and large number of people belonging to different walks of life participated in the rally.
Participants carried, at the rally started from Gymkhana and ended at Hyderabad Press Club, placards inscribed with slogans demanding the independence of occupied Kashmir and condemning the atrocities committed by Indian forces. Before proceeding, a one-minute silence was observed by the participants to pay homage to the martyrs of Kashmir.
While addressing the rally DCO Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri condemned the acts of atrocities of Indian forces on Kashmiri people. Adding that the world community should play its key role to solve this issue according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of occupied Kashmir and demanded that the resolutions passed by the United Nations should be implemented in letter and spirit.
