A meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr held in the Parliament House Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Maulana Muhammad Qasim MNA. The Chairman Islamic Ideology Council (IIC), briefed the committee over the performance, functions and highlighted different issues of the council in detail.
He further informed that the Secretary Ministry of Law has restrained the Islamic Ideology Council (IIC) not to make recommendations on various issues. Upon this the Standing Committee constituted a four Member sub-committee to look into the matter as raised by IIC during the meeting regarding not making recommendations and submit the report very soon.-PR
