US MIDDAY: soya slides

Chicago Board of Trade March soybeans were down 10 cents a bushel at $9.58-1/2 near midday Friday on easing concerns about the Argentine soybean crop, traders said. Argentine benefited from good rains this week with more expected to move through on Monday. Additionally, Argentine farmers postponed a planned strike against the government, lessening fears that exports would slow there.
