Papers of Mushahid, three others accepted, two rejected

The Returning Officer on Sunday accepted nomination papers of four candidates from Punjab against the seats reserved for Ulema/technocrats. During the scrutiny process the Returning Officer rejected the nomination papers of two candidates. There are two seats reserved for Ulema/technocrats from Punjab and six candidates have filed nomination papers.
Those whose nomination papers have been accepted including Professor Sajid Mir of PML-N, Mohammad Kazam Khan, PPP, Dr Mohammad Akbar Khawaja, PPP and Mushahid Hussain Sayed of PML-Q, while those whose nomination papers have been rejected are Moazzam Iqbal Gill and Dr Amjad Hussain Khan (Independent).
