A four-member team of World Bank (WB) led by Anjum Ahmad met with DCO, Fazeel Asghar in his office here on Tuesday and briefed him about the pros and cons of the team to visit Multan. The other members of the team comprised of Manol Rasia, Emi and Maryam Riaz.
Anjum Ahmad said that the World Bank is giving financial support to Pakistan in health, education, agriculture and business sectors. He said that World Bank is also paying its services in 32 other countries. World Bank along with US aid is jointly collecting the data and information for the indicator of doing business, adding that we are collecting this data from the private sector and government representatives.
DCO Fazeel Asghar on this occasion said that district government has appointed DOR Shah Zaman Khoro as a focal person regarding the collection of data and survey in this regard. Syed Fakhar Imam, Malik Mukhtar Awan, President Small Business Industries Khawaja Muhammad Shafiq, Khalid Mehmood Qureshi and others were also present on this occasion.
