100 cross sides at LoC

One hundred civilians on Monday crossed sides on Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh-Taitrinote crossing point on occupied Poonch-Rawalakot route by weekly Poonch-Rawalakot bus service, official sources said. While 45 civilians reached AJK from the Indian occupied Kashmir, the number of civilians leaving for occupied Kashmir from this side of the LoC was higher at 55, the sources told APP on Tuesday.
Out of 45 civilians reaching AJK from Poonch, 31 were first timers from the occupied Kashmir visiting AJK to meet their divided families and relatives. Fourteen others were AJK citizens who returned after completing their 28 days stay in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir State. Among 55 citizens leaving for occupied Kashmir, 17 were AJK citizens while 38 others were returnees of the other side of the LoC.
Chaudhry Sadiq Malik, ACR Hajeera and Parvez Yaqoob, SDM Hajeera were present at Chakan-Da-Bagh from AJK side while Matloob Khan, GM DIC and Rafiq Chaudhry, Dy SP Headquarters represented occupied Poonch during the weekly cross-LoC movement of the Kashmiris belonging to the divided families living either sides of the LoC, the sources said.
