ISE index decreases 12.57 points

Bears returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs under the lead of trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 12.57 points, as the index moved from 1,284.97 to 1,272.40 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,843,901 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,183,210 shares. Total 116 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (61) closed in negative territory, 54 closed in positive zone, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 341,500 shares. The turnover of OGDCL was 145,900 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 143,900 shares.
