Peace in Balochistan: 'stakeholders should be taken on board'

Secretary General of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Rauf Khan Sasoli talking to newsmen here on Friday said that all stakeholders should be taken on board to bring durable peace and socio-economic development in Balochistan. He said that people of Balochistan were hoodwinked many times by the rulers and our leaders like Nawab Muhammad Akbar Khan Bugti were murdered.
He warned that people of Balochistan would not forgive the rulers if they were deceived again. He welcomed the statement by President Asif Ali Zardari that all stakeholders would be taken into confidence. He said "All stakeholders should be on the same page to make concerted efforts towards development in Balochistan province".
Adding that the President and Prime Minister reviewed development activities, law and order situation in the province and security measures taken by law-enforcement agencies. Also release of abducted UN official John Solecki was discussed but they did not reveal anything on this topic.
