The mother of President, Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein died on Friday after protracted ailment. Sources close to Chaudhry brothers told Business Recorder that Shujaat's mother was facing health problem for the last one month. On Friday, her condition deteriorated and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment where she breathed her last.
On hearing the sad news, a large number of political leaders, activists of the PML and well-wishers of Chaudhrys reached their Gulberg residence. The leader, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif accompanied by Sardar Zulifqar Ali Khosa and his other party leaders visited Shujaat's Gulberg residence almost after nine years to express sorrow over the sad demise of his mother.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and other PML-Q leaders received Nawaz who remained there for some time. Meanwhile, former President, Pervez Musharraf and Mutthida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader also condoled with Shujaat over telephone.
