Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday visited the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, President Pakistan Muslim League to condole the sad demise of his mother. The prime minister expressed his deep sorrow and grief with Chaudhry Shujaat, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain MNA and District Nazim Gujrat Chaudhry Shafaat Hussain, over the death of their mother.
Former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, members of family and political leaders of other parties were present on the occasion. He offered fateha and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, with fortitude.
The mother of senator-elect Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and mother-in-law of former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was buried here on Friday. The prime minister was accompanied ministers Raja Pervaiz Ahsraf, Ahmed Mukhtar, Rehman Malik, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.
