Kashmiris stage massive protest

Massive protest was staged in Sopore town of occupied Kashmir on Sunday against the killing of three innocent youths by the Indian army on Saturday night. The town was closed and thousands of Kashmiris took to the streets chanting slogans against security forces, which opened fire last night killing three youths including Mohammad Amin Tantray and Javed Ahmad and injuring several others.
The forces imposed curfew in the town ordering the people to stay indoors.
The protesting Kashmiris demanded withdrawal of Indian forces from the area.
Media reports quoting police sources said, a FIR under section 302, was lodged against the army at the Sopore police station. Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has strongly condemned the killing of innocent youths. Describing this act as 'state terrorism,' he said Kashmiris have offered great sacrifices for the cause of Kashmir. A Hurriyat delegation led by Shabbir Ahmed Dar visited Sopore and condoled with the relatives of three shaheeds.
