Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) underlined the need for making concerted efforts by all schools of thought, political forces and government for forging inter-faith harmony in the restive district of Dera Ismail Khan.
Talking to APP on Sunday, PTI leader from D.I.Khan Muhammad Yahya Qureshi, who visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and inquired about the health of blast victims, underscored the need for putting an end to sectarian violence that was claiming precious lives of the innocent people.
He sympathised with the injured and assured them of all possible support in his personal capacity as well as by PTI. He lamented the deteriorating security situation in D.I.Khan, which in the past was known for its calm and peace.
"There must be some foreign elements that intend to disrupt peace and progress of not only this particular district, but the rest of the country," Yahya maintained.
