Agriculture scientists asked to ensure best use of resources

Agricultural scientists should make best use of financial resources allocated by the government for the promotion and enhancing quality of agriculture research. Additional Secretary Planning Agriculture, Tahir Khurshid, stated this while addressing agricultural scientists at Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI), Faisalabad.
He underlined the importance of presenting agricultural projects to Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB) so that financial resources could be utilised for solving problems of farming community and increasing agricultural productivity in the country.
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of promoting co-operation between PARB and AARI to facilitate the utilisation of financial resources allocated for agricultural research so that quality of agricultural research could be improved for solving problems.
Dr Muhammad Rashid DGA (Research) informed about the agricultural projects presented to PARB.
Moreover, additional secretary asked the scientists that agricultural projects should be prepared by incorporating the suggestions given by experts to enhance the quality and efficacy of agricultural research projects.
