23 Feb, 2009

Millat-i-Jafaria Pakistan (MJP) has announced to observe protest day on February 27 (Friday) across the country to express its anger over tragic incidents of Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Parachinar, Quetta, Hangu and Tank.
Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi Chief of MJP strongly reacted on the growing incidents of killing of shias in country describing it a continuation of tragedy of Karbala, which occurred 1,400 years ago.
In his message to all the district organisations on Sunday, Allama said, "we can nor more lift the bodies of our martyrs and we have decided to observe protest day on February 27 across the country." He said that our funeral processions are unsafe and insecure and we are unable to take part in the funeral ritual of our dears. He asked," who are the suicide bombers where their hideouts and who are patronising them." He appealed to the shias particularly members of the victims of these tragic incidents to be calm and patient and they should foil the nefarious designs of the extremists and terrorists. Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi said that government had failed to protect the lives and properties of the shias.
