Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that huge amounts are being spent for improving the infrastructure and also ensuring quality and timely completion of the projects to facilitate the people at the earliest. He expressed these views, while addressing during a meeting for reviewing the pace of development projects at Chief Minister's Secretariat, here on Tuesday.
He said that the work on the development projects was going on throughout the province speedily. Moreover, he directed to promote the culture of working on development projects during night time for the convenience of the people during day times as well as the projects, as well as he instructed to complete the projects within stipulated time.
MPAs Syed Zaeem Qadri, Chaudhry Allah Rakha, Chaudhry Shahbaz, Chairmen Taskforce Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan and Mustafa Kamal, A Z K Sherdil, Commissioner Lahore Division, DG LDA, Secretary Communication & Works, DCO Lahore, DIG Traffic, Chief Engineer TEPA, MD NESPAK, senior officials of FWO, NLC and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The chief minister said that complete transparency of all development projects and proper utilisation of every penny of the people was being ensured in the province.
The meeting reviewed in detail pace of work on various roads, including Ring road, Mughalpura fly over, Kasur- Depalpur road, Lahore-Kasur road and other development projects. Senior officials of FWO, NLC, Commissioner Lahore Division and Director General LDA informed about the progress of implementation on various projects.
The chief minister directed that a detailed briefing about all development projects should be arranged within a day or two and development projects should be completed in time at all cost.
