Mexican golfing star Lorena Ochoa clinched the 1.45-million-dollar Honda LPGA Thailand tournament Sunday with an impressive six-under-par 66 round that included seven birdies. The world number one started the tournament slowly Thursday, but powered up the leaderboard with low scores throughout the weekend to finish on 274, a three-stroke lead on second-placed South Korean Park Hee-Young.
Ochoa, who with 24 tour victories under her belt has become the woman to beat on the LPGA circuit, wins 217,500 dollars in prize money.
