Solar sacks store energy for laptops, cell phones

Modern office workers can roam almost anywhere with their cell phones and computers as long as an empty battery does not force them to find a place to plug in and charge. However, Dusseldorf-based inventors have developed a product that allows even this tether to be severed.
Their company's solar bags made of felt are covered with solar cells that allow electronic devices to be charged by sunlight in an environmentally-friendly way and remotely. The battery serves as a cushion inside the bag and can store energy and provide it later at night-time. An adapter connects the electronic device to the bag.
