The architect of Pakistan's successful international bond market standing, Special Secretary Finance, Dr Ashfaque Hassan Khan has joined the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) as Dean and Professor at the School of Business Administration from March 1, 2009.
Known as good negotiator with the International Financial Institutions as well as foreign investors, he has been the key figure in the economic team of the country during the last 10 years, which successfully floated Sovereign Bonds worth $2.6 billion during 2004-2007, which were actually oversubscribed many times.
