Irrelevant

Through your esteemed daily I draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards an issue that those successful allottees of plots measuring 80 square yards in MDA's Taiser Town Scheme- 45, Karachi, who have made full and final payments of instalments/ dues before the stipulated time and approached the MDA Office for getting their allotment orders, are being asked to file an affidavit to the effect that at the time of submission of the application they have no plot/house/flat in their/spouse's name, along with prescribed application on Form "O".
The said forms "O" were printed for the allottees of another Scheme No 1 and not for the allottees of Scheme No 45 (ie Taiser Town); hence, it is illegal because at the time of publication/announcement of the Scheme 45 through newspapers no such condition was laid down either in the advertisements or in the prescribed application forms/brochures etc. Therefore, the said affidavit should have to be omitted from the Form 'O' and the allottees may not be asked/insisted to file such an affidavit that is irrelevant to the Scheme-45 (Taiser Town).
