Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final: KRL in good position after Azhar knock

KRL scored 208 for the loss of four wickets in 83 overs on Tuesday in its first innings of Quaid-e-Azam trophy final being played between KRL and Sialkot Region here at Jinnah stadium. After losing quick wickets Azhar Ali Khan played a responsible knock and strengthened the position of his side by scoring 84 with the help of fourteen fours. At the close of play Azhar Ali 84 and Bazid Khan 18 were not out at the crease.
Seed Anwar (Junior) and Azhar Khan registered a partnership of 63 before Saeed got out at 30 on a ball by Sarmad Anwar. Other scorers were Zulfiqar 11, Ali Naqvi 17 and Muhammad Waseem 24. Nayyer Abbas took two wickets for 50 runs while Naveed Arif and Sarmad Anwar each took one wicket for the Sialkot Region.
