A new trailer and poster for the movie was released online Sunday and unveiled at Warner Bros. Pictures' panel event at San Diego Comic-Con 2017.
The trailer shows Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher reprise their roles of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg, while two more heroes have been speculated to return in the most-awaited franchise.
First of all, villain Steppenwolf, in his raspy monologue, says that “This world will fall without Lanterns or a Kryptonian”. We’ve heard rumors that Abin Sur— the original Green Lantern of Sector 2814 who dies and gives his power over to Hal Jordan—might show up to give the third act of Justice League some more fire power, foreign media reported.
But where is Superman? Well, the ending is pretty cryptic. “We can't say much but if you're a big fan of Superman then I am sure you're going to be very, very happy watching this," Gal Gadot told the Comic-Con crowd.
One of the early taglines for the movie was ‘Unite the Seven’.
Another footage showed Alfred (Jeremy Irons) holding down the fort for Batman (Ben Affleck) while the Justice League is out, and he looks up from his work and said, “He said you'd come,” he says to the unseen person. “Let's hope it's not too late”.
While the movie will hit theaters on November 14, let’s see how far DC can hide this worst kept secret.
