A complete strike was observed by the traders and business community of Lahore on Friday to show their solidarity with the Sharif brothers against their disqualification by the apex court and imposition of Governors rule in the province. The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry also fully supported the strike.
Similarly, the industrial units who usually also remained indifferent on strike calls given by the traders bodies also observed shut down. Majority of industrial unit at Kot Lakhpat Industrial Estate had observed shutter down.
