All Pakistan Naat Competition held

The final round of All Pakistan Naat Competition held here on Saturday at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporations Bokhari Auditorium, in connection with Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him). The jointly organised programme by Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan was divided into four categories including under-15 boys, under-15 girls and the rest two categories comprised above 15 boys and girls.
The contestants were reached the final after winning regional competitions held in all four provinces, Federal Capital, Northern areas and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi, who was chief guest on the occasion, distributed cash prizes among successful contenders besides presenting them collection of Seerat-Un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) books and the Holy Quran.
Under-15 boys competition - Syed Naseer Ahmed Shah of NWFP clinched the first position, Musab Hassan of Sindh and Sheraz Aslam of Balochistan secured 2nd and third positions, respectively. Under-15 girls competition - Syeda Rabia Gillani belonging to NWFP grabbed 1st position, while Mehwish Manzoor of Balochistan and Syed Saira Anjum of AJK got 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
