Bangladesh is making efforts to reschedule the tour of Pakistan cricket team by the end of March. After postponement of Pakistans tour of Bangladesh as per the advice of the government authorities, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hopes that they would finalise the tour within this week.
"Still there lies some problems but we hope we can start our activities regarding the tour within a few days. But we are not still certain over the suitable time for the tour but we are trying our best to make the tour alive," said BCB vice-president Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby in Dhaka on Sunday.
"We have contacted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and informed them about our problem as we had to postpone the series as per the advice of the government. We, the two boards are communicating on a regular basis. They wanted to know about the certain timeframe of the tour but its still impossible to inform them about it," added Bobby.
After the postponement of the tour, Bobby called on State Minister for Sports and Youth Ahad Ali Sarkar. "We hope to make the tour in the end of March and in the new schedule, we might curtail a Twenty20 match," officials said.
