Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has broken a metatarsal bone in his left foot which may keep him out for the remainder of the season. "Last night, in the course of the game between Torino and Juventus, Mohamed Sissoko suffered trauma to his left foot which caused a metatarsal fracture," a club statement on Sunday said.
The Mali international is definitely out of Tuesdays Champions League last 16 second leg tie with Chelsea after coming on as a late substitute in Saturdays 1-0 win.
AS Roma, who host Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday, said in a statement that right back Cicinho had suffered a knee injury. Media reports said he would be out for the season.
