Mixed pattern on wholesale grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Australia and Canada registered higher at Rs 7500-9500, respectively.
Wheat old and new Bardana (with bag) were up by Rs 50 to Rs 245-2465, Gur low quality was up by Rs 100 to Rs 3500 and good type was unmoved at Rs 4100, Khandsari low quality rose the same amount at Rs 3700 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 4000, they said.
On the grams side, gram Australian was sharply down by Rs 225 to Rs 3175-3225, Dal Australia followed suit and fell by Rs 250 to Rs 3700-3850, yellow peas Canada low type was lower by Rs 2500 and best quality was down by Rs 100 to Rs 2600, yellow peas dal Canada low type also dropped Rs 50 to Rs 2800 and good type was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 2900 and Bajra inferior type shed Rs 250 to1400 while the best type maintained the overnight level at Rs 2400, they added.
On the seeds side, cottonseed oilcake with bag Punjab New best type was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 800 and inferior type was inert at Rs 750 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type was up by Rs 80 to Rs 930 and good type gained slightly by Rs 10 to Rs 960, they said.
