Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party AJK and Health Minister AJK Sardar Qamar-uz-Zaman on Thursday asked PML-N leadership to shun the politics of agitation and solve all the issues with the Pakistan government through dialogue. "Rebellious threats and street agitation will serve no good purpose but only create anarchy and chaos," he said talking to APP.
He lamented that the PML-N leadership was not reciprocating the reconciliatory offers of the President and the government of Pakistan. He said that after a long time Pakistan had returned towards real democracy and any immaturity at this time would cause serious consequences.
Pakistan is passing through a critical juncture and the situation demands that all the political forces should get united and adopt a way that is in the best national interest, he said. He said the long march and sit-in would mar normal life, including business and educational activities.
About the imposition of section 144 in Punjab and Sindh, he said that it was inevitable, as nobody should be allowed to disrupt law and order in the country. He said the Constitution Avenue was a highly sensitive area, which stretches from Pak Secretariat to the Diplomatic Enclave and holding of any sit-in and long march there would pose serious threats to the security. Holding a march and sit-in the federal capital is tantamount to destabilise Pakistan, especially at a time when the country was facing a grave security situation, he added.
