Pakistan Day being celebrated in Malaysia

Pakistani community in Malaysia is all set to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Pakistan Day with full fervour. The High Commission for Pakistan in Malaysia has planned to celebrate the event in a most befitting manner. The flag hoisting ceremony will be held at 10.00 am on 23rd March at the High Commission, while the ceremony will be attended by large number of Pakistani Community and Malaysian dignitaries.
The messages of the President and the Prime Minister will be read followed by speeches by the Pakistan Community members marking the importance of the Pakistan Day followed by concluding remarks by the High Commissioner.
A special supplement will be brought out in the second largest English daily of Malaysia New Straits Times, wherein message of the High Commissioner and various articles on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia and trade, investment and business opportunities available in Pakistan will also be published. The Bernama TV, the most popular 24-hour news channel of Malaysia having reach to Indonesia and Brunei will telecast one-hour interview of the High Commissioner.
