Bollywood’s hottest couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have finally called it quits, claims an Indian tabloid. Though the couple has never made their relationship official, a close source to the duo has confirmed their parting.

Recently all seemed well when Ranveer and Deepika were seen roaming around partying on Ranveer’s birthday but if rumours are to be believed, the couple has decided to end their union due to their hectic work schedule.

As per PinkVilla report, the source revealed that the duo has permanently parted ways and Ranveer has even started dating another girl. The source went on adding, "Ranveer and Deepika have been together for five years. They are no longer a couple. There was no bitter parting. They just drifted apart. They both tried to make it work with the help of their supportive families who wanted to ensure that the relationship made it to the altar. That was one of the problems with the relationship. Ranveer wanted a marriage. Deepika completely opposed the idea, arguing that marriage would affect her career at its prime.”

Singh was leaning towards marriage but Deepika had other plans and the long distance relationship was not working in their favor. Though these are still speculations, the duo will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ that also stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. The movie is set to release in November this year.
