Ibad, Qaim pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and his cabinet members visited the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah on the occasion of Pakistan Day and laid floral wreath and offered Fateha.
Talking to the media on the occasion Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan said that Pakistan is rich in resources and today is the day for renewing the pledge to serve the country together and steer it to the path of progress. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah said that today entire nation is observing Pakistan Day with national spirit and we have come here to pay our homage to the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
He recalled that concept of Pakistan was presented on this day and a separate homeland was ultimately achieved with unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the Muslims of South Asia so that they could have their economic, political and social rights here.
"Now it is our duty to follow the golden principles propounded by the Quaid-e-Azam and work for the welfare, betterment and development of people of Pakistan and to get their due rights".
Qaim Ali Shah said that people of Pakistan and of Sindh have given their mandate to various parties including PPP and our effort should commensurate with that mandate as well as to strengthen the constitutional institutions. He pointed out that there is poverty in the country and so is the Sindh province where this curse has to be eliminated to get poor and backward people their denied rights.
