Pakistan pavilion draws huge crowd in Dhaka

Huge crowds have evinced keen interest at a Pakistan pavilion set up at a local hotel in Dhaka as part of programmes of the Pakistan High Commission to celebrate Pakistan National Day. The exhibits displayed at the pavilion included handicrafts, tourist spots and textiles which drew attention of the visitors. Different aspects of rich Pakistani culture and tradition were also put on show.
The pavilion was established at the initiative of Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Alamgir Babar. The pavilion was an added attraction for visitors during a grand reception hosted by Ambassador Alamgir Babar.
Information Minister of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Azad, Press Secretary to Prime Minister AK Azad, high civil and military officials, heads of diplomatic missions, Dhaka Chamber President Zafar Osman, leaders of the business community, leaders of different political parties including ruling Awami League and BNP attended the reception, which was begun with playing national anthems of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
