Rain lashes Quetta

Rainfall lashed the provincial capital and its surrounding areas on Thursday evening following which the weather turned cold in the city. Dark clouds started covering the sky at the afternoon in the city, which consequently led to precipitation in the evening that continued till filing of this report. Mercury dropped after the rainfall, which made the weather considerably cold.
The regional Met Office has forecast that cloudy weather with light rain would prevail in the provincial capital and its adjoining areas during the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature was recorded here on Thursday as 22.5 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature remained as 7.0 degree Celsius in the valley. Relative humidity was recorded here as 64 percent at 08:00am while 29 percent at 05:00pm.
