Government focusing on Balochistans uplift: minister

Federal Minister for Communication Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil has said that the federal government is paying special attention for the uplift of Balochistan and the communication sector is being revolutionised in the province. The federal minister expressed these views while talking to different delegations and representatives of Traders Association Quetta during his visit to Balochistan.
He urged the NHA officials to take personal interest to solve the problems faced by the people of this region and complete all the ongoing projects and constructions of highways well in time. The Traders Association on this occasion apprised the federal minister of their problems. Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan said that at the moment the largest political force of the country is in power and is taking practical steps to mitigate the sufferings of the people.
President Asif Ali Zardari has announced mega projects for Balochistan so that the living standard of its people could be improved, he said, adding that we want to expand the network of highways of Balochistan to the neighbouring countries of the region to facilitate trade, tourism and industry.
He said that the democratic process will continue in the country and no one will be allowed to create hurdles in it. The government of Pakistan Peoples Party will take the country safely through all political crises and the goal of national progress will soon be achieved. The federal minister also urged the traders delegations and other people to support the government in its endeavours for Balochistans uplift.
