Taj Muhammad Jamali passes away

Veteran politician, former Balochistan chief minister and MNA Taj Muhammad Khan Jamali, died at a hospital in Karachi on Thursday evening. He was 70, family sources confirmed. Taj Muhammad Jamali was maternal uncle of deputy chairman senate Jan Muhammad Jamali and cousin of former prime minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
He will be laid to rest in his ancestral village, in Rojhan Jamali town of Nasirabad district, at the side of his father, Jaffar Khan Jamali, who was renowned politician and active leader in Pakistan movement. PPP leader and MNA Taj Muhammad Jamali was heart patient, who remained under treatment for the last 25 days in a hospital in Karachi. He left behind a widow, four sons and two daughters. His body will be brought for burial in Rojhan Jamali by helicopter.
Taj Muhammad Khan Jamali had remained minister of state for defence in cabinet of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1970s. He served as Balochistan chief minister from November 17, 1990 to May 22, 1993. They prayed to Allah Almighty to shower his blessings on the departed soul and grant fortitude and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
