Citibank N.A. Pakistan (Citi) has launched a bilingual version of its chequebook becoming the first bank in Pakistan to offer this facility in both English and Urdu languages across 10 cities. The unprecedented move, effective April 10, is part of Citis continuous enhancement of services for its customers.
"The launch of Citis bilingual chequebook marks a milestone for banking in the country and represents the first of many customised features we aim to introduce over the next few months including localising of all customer communication" said Azim Alvi Citis Consumer Business Head in Pakistan. "Our aim is to increase accessibility for all our customers".
