I wish to extend my heartiest congratulations to the management and staff of Attock Gen Limited and of the Attock Group of Companies on the inauguration ceremony Attock Gen Limited (AGL), the first venture of the Group in the field of power generation.
I understand that AGL is the first independent power plant to be commissioned after a gap of over 9 years and also the first ever Independent Power Producer (IPP) to be geographically located North of Lahore. Such projects not only aid in the growth and development of the growth but also are vital to the progress of Pakistan. At this point I also wish to congratulate the Government of Pakistan for successfully implementing its modern and visionary policies which, I am sure within a short span of time would transform Pakistan into major economic hub.
I have always considered Pakistan as my second home and its prosperity is very close to my heart. With immense opportunities around us, I look forward to further initiatives being taken by the Attock Group with same energy and vigor which are its hallmarks.
