President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday summoned the National Assembly's 12th session on April 9 at Parliament House at 4pm, said a notification. "In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has summoned the National Assembly to meet in the Parliament Building, Islamabad on Thursday, April 9 at 4pm," said the notification.
The National Security Committee of the Parliament will table its recommendations for the government policy on national security which were approved here on Tuesday. The discussion on the President's second address to the joint sitting of the Parliament would also be held in the upcoming session of the National Assembly. The parliament will also discuss the recent spate of terrorism in the country.
