FPCCI chief denies forming any political party

President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Sultan Ahmed Chawla has strongly denied the news of formation of any political party by FPCCI. In a statement issued here he said that FPCCI has not decided to form any political party as reported in a section of press.
He said in fact Tariq Sayeed, Chairman of ruling businessmen panel announced that in future whenever elections will be held in Pakistan the group will support one MNA and two MPAs from every city of Pakistan irrespective of their party affiliation and the only condition will be that candidate must be from business/trade community.
Sultan Ahmed Chawla said that the purpose of this decision is that the business community strongly feels that participation of business community should increase which can enable the community to participate in economic and commercial issues with in their party and parliament. -PR
