Seven alleged outlaws arrested

CIA Police Model Town has arrested seven accused involved in dacoity and street crimes and recovered gold ornaments, 11 mobile phones, 71 thousand rupees cash, six pistols, one revolver and cartages from them. During initial investigation, the culprits disclosed 15 incidents of dacoity and street crimes committed by them in various areas of the city.
According to details, Capital City Police Chief, Muhammad Pervez Rathore instructed SP CIA Muhammad Umar Virk to eliminate incidents of serious crimes in the city, who set up a special team under the leadership of DSP CIA Model Town, Muhammad Khalid Abu Bakar, which collected necessary details about Zulfiqar Ali alias Zulfi gang and arrested seven culprits.
The accused used to commit dacoities at houses, along with snatching cash and valuables from pedestrian at gunpoint. It has come to light that cases have already been registered in police station Factory Area, South Cantt, Kahna and Kot Lakhpat against the culprits.
Besides Zulifqar Ali alias Zulfi, the ringleader of the gang, other accused include Abdul Shakoor, Muhammad Faisal, Ishtaiq, Abdul Qayum, Muhammad Rafaqat and Muhammad Ramzan. Further investigation is in progress.
