Singer Pakistan to raise authorised capital

Singer Pakistan Ltd has convened its annual general meeting on April 30, 2009 to consider and approve enhancing of authorised share capital of the company to Rs 400 million by issuing ordinary shares. According to a company announcement communicated to KSE here on Thursday, the board of directors of Singer Pakistan has recommended to issue 10 million ordinary shares of Rs 10 each for the purpose.
Currently, the company has an authorised share capital of Rs 300 million. Similarly, the AGM will also consider issuing a bonus share at 12.6 percent, three shares for every 24 shares.
