Kottan, TSG help PFF in forming formidable team for future

"National Coach Georg Kottan (Austria) and members of Technical Study Group (TSG) will help Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) in forming strong Pakistan and Pakistan U-19 and U-23 teams for coming future assignments. They will select 75 plus players from the NBP National Football Challenge Cup.
It will be played from 15-28 April 2009 at Hesco Stadium, named in the memory of Umaid Ali Kaimkhani Shaheed, near Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad." PFF Operational Wing had formed TSG under the directive of Faisal Saleh Hayat to analyse the technical abilities of all the 16 participants at Hyderabad. "Tactical and technical trends can change between each events.
Consequently, PFF calls on Pakistans former internationals, coaches to help it identify the games evolution at the various levels. I hope that TSGs current five members will perform their duty with dedication and commitment," said PFF Chief Faisal Saleh Hayat.
Kottan, under whom Pakistan drew four matches and winning once in five outings, will hunt talent under PFF Selection Committee whose other members will be PFFs General Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Khan Yar Lodhi (Retd), Director Operation Wing Comdr Pervaiz Mir (Retd) and TSG Group.
Former National coaches Siddiq Sheikh, Akhtar Mohiuddin, Olympic Coach Muhammad Rasheed and AFC AID-27 Coaches working under Asian Football Confederation (AFC)s Scheme - Gohar Zaman, Muhammad Habib - are in TSG appointed for 32-match show that will conclude on 28 April 2009 when National Bank of Pakistan (NBP)s President Syed Ali Raza, also Chief Executive Officer of NBP, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
Earlier on 15 April 2009, NBPs Dr Mirza Ibrar Baig, Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) and Group Chief, Human Resources Management and Administration (HRM&A) will perform Opening Ceremony with traditional kick. Faisal added: "The ultimate aim of TSG is to compile a technical report after the event, which examines the 16 teams action in all of the facets that are interesting from a technical and tactical point of view.
The group examines each teams tactical strategy, looks at the coaches, throws up discussion points for the future, chooses its favourite goals and identifies the players who have made a particular contribution." "TSG has also been responsible for naming the official team of the tournament, which features the players who, in the groups eyes, have been particularly important in terms of, for example, team play, skill, defensive or goal-scoring ability." concluded Faisal, also member of AFC Disciplinary Committee.
