APHC leader re-arrested fourth time

Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and the Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party in occupied Kahsmir, Shabbir Ahmad Shah was re-arrested fourth time after getting bail from the court. According to Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Shah who is facing repeated trials for leading the Muzaffarabad March on August 11, 2008 has been reprimanded to 15-day judicial custody in occupied Srinagar Central jail.
He was re-arrested by the Indian police personnel and taken to the District Court Baramulla on Friday morning immediately after he was released from Sub-jail Baramulla. The magistrate also directed the authorities to provide proper medical aid to him.
Talking to media men in the court premises, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that he would continue to fight for Kashmiris right of self-determination despite all odds. " I was part of Muzaffarabad march and I havent done anything wrong," he maintained. He said that the so-called elections under Indian hegemony were a futile exercise and could not affect Kashmiris pious cause.
Meanwhile, the Acting Chairman of the Democratic Freedom Party, Muhammad Abdullah Tari has strongly condemned the re-arrest of the party Chief, Shabbir Ahmed Shah. Addressing a public gathering in Baramulla, he maintained that such tactics could not deter Kashmiris from continuing their liberation struggle.
