A senior member Lahore High Court Bar Association Syed Manzoor Ali Gilani has moved a resolution demanding re-election of the bar after elevation of its president M A Shahid Siddiqui to Supreme Court of Pakistan. He contended that under the bar rules re-election for the seat of the President are necessary for rest of ten months tenure.
He also requested for the schedule of the re-elections. The resolution would be presented before the bar meeting scheduled on Monday.
