Minister condemns toy bomb killings

The Federal Minister for Population Welfare, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has strongly condemned the toy bomb attack on children in Lower Dir. In a statement on Sunday, she said that those who committed such an inhuman act of killing innocent school-going children could not be Muslims, as Islam teaches love and kindness towards youngsters.
Dr Firdous expressed her grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and conveyed her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the parents of the children. She said that those who carried out the barbaric attack would not escape the wrath of Allah and law of the land.
Further, she vowed that such heinous and cruel acts could never deter the government's commitment to eradicate the menace of terrorism from Pakistan.
