Government implementing welfare projects: minister

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bukhari, has said that PPP government is implementing a number welfare projects across the country to provide maximum relief to the masses in line with PPP manifesto.
Addressing an open kutcherry at his residence at Karmanwala on Sunday, he said that prime minister has released funds to be spent on the schemes meant for providing employment opportunities to women folk. The minister said that Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is being expanded to facilitate more poor people all over the country and eliminate poverty.
He said that foreign hands were found involved in creating present situation in Balochistan and added that the government would overcome the situation there. He said that a number of steps are being taken by the government to provide employment opportunities to youth without any discrimination.
