Investment under CFS fell by 24 percent by Rs 165 million on Friday, April 24, 2009, going down to a meagre Rs 520 million. "Following the discontinuation of CFS Mk-II since April 8, 2009, the level is quickly falling as prior investments are released and CFS is phased out in three working cycles", analysts said.
The CFS rates declined to 18 percent on the end of the week. The top 5 scrips by CFS investment were ICI, Engro, MCB, UBL and NBP, cumulatively accounting for 66 percent of total investment.
